In September, 2024, the Feldman family arrived in Kansas City to establish the Torah MiTzion Community Beit Midrash of KC, aiming to strengthen the values of Torah and Zionism in the local community while fostering a love for Torah and Israel. This initiative was spearheaded by Community Kollel of KC president Jerry Bernard and board member Yosef Silver; volunteer Lisa Bernard; and Rabbi Mark Glass of Congregation BIAV.  Their shared vision and commitment made this Beit Midrash a reality.

Kollel Torah MiTzion of Kansas City is bringing Torah learning to the city. Both Kollel members immediately started teaching at the Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy upon arrival. In their short time in Kansas City, the Feldmans have started creating connections by meeting members of the Jewish community of all denominations.  They will reach under-served populations and collaborate with existing organizations.  Their work will build upon the work of past Kollels and continue building a strong bridge between Kansas City and Eretz Israel.

To date, Kansas City has hosted 1 family, Rabbi Benyamin and Tehilla Feldman (2024-current).
